Metabolic Syndrome

A cluster of issues, such as belly fat, high blood sugar, and high blood pressure, that raise disease risk.

Metabolic syndrome is the name for a group of findings that often travel together: extra belly fat, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, and low HDL. It signals that your metabolism is struggling, usually driven by too many carbs and chronically high insulin. The Proper Human Diet targets the root cause.
